DAY 4: EDINBURGH - YORK Today head south to York, founded in AD 71 & rich in Roman, Saxon & Viking history. Upon arrival meet a local guide for a York Tour. Enjoy a stroll through the medieval city and the famous Shambles, a quaint, narrow street that appears today almost as it did during the Middle Ages. Visit the magnificent 13th century York Minster, one of the finest medieval cathedrals in all of Europe. Later check into your hotel for the one-night stay. Enjoy an included dinner this evening. Overnight: York | Meals: Breakfast, Dinner DAY 5: YORK - STRATFORD-UPON-AVON - BRISTOL Continue south today through Yorkshire and arrive in Stratford-Upon-Avon. Visit Anne Hathaway’s Cottage and Shakespeare’s Birthplace, possibly the most famous and most visited literary landmark in Britain. Later arrive in historic port city of Bristol for a two-night stay. Bristol sits at the mouth of the Avon River & the city center docks have been regenerated as a center of heritage and culture. Overnight: Bristol | Meals: Breakfast
