Reach the Wenatchee Valley Senior & 50+ Community
|
Foothills Community Center provides a unique opportunity for local businesses to engage with the senior and 50+ population of Chelan and Douglas counties.
While traditional forms of advertising to this demographic, such as Yellow Page and newspaper ads, are losing relevancy, because of our membership base, our media options continue to thrive and grow. We currently have over 2,000 members, most of whom are in the senior demographic. Our members have made it clear that they still want The Livewire, our printed, monthly newsletter, which includes our activity directory, calendar of events, informative articles of interest and member-contributed content. As a result, we have made it our goal to support this format through advertising. In addition, since May 2025, we have sent our members and other interested subscribers The Spark, a weekly e-newsletter, to provide more timely updates during the month. Most of our members read this email on their smartphones. Our subscriber list has grown to over 1,800 confirmed recipients, and our emails receive an astounding 48% average open rate! More recently, we have put the televisions in our 200-seat social hall and at our reception desk to use as a medium to show display and short video ads. These run throughout the day, so most of our members and visitors see these ads multiple times during their visit. We estimate these ads receive over 1,000 impressions per day. Our rate sheets for these advertising media are available for download on this page as PDFs. Please note that while we are a nonprofit 501(c)3, advertising is not tax deductible and subject to Washington state and local sales tax. If you have questions, please contact Russ Alman, Communications Director, or Lisa Blair, Executive Director at (509) 662-7036. |
